MAKATI--Filipino MMA star Mark Striegl expressed positive anticipation on his upcoming One Championship debut against Casey Suire, which he thinks fights like him.

"Casey is a tough fighter. He's got a similar style with me. We both like to come forward. We're both aggressive fighters," Striegl told Dugout Philippines after his open workout at the KMA Gym on Tuesday.

Asked about what the crowd at the Mall of Asia should expect on Friday night at the Mall of Asia Arena at Valor of Champion, Striegl answered, "It's gonna be an exciting fight because of two guys that like to come forward and are very aggressive."

However, Striegl admitted that he is not a fan of doing a specific fight plan before stepping to the cage.

"I don't believe too much in game plans," said Striegl, who in spite of it posted an impressive record in his MMA career.

He continued, "I believe in studying my opponents to a certain extent--look out at what tendencies and certain things they do, but as far as the whole game plan, I like to just step in the cage and test my skills against my opponents."
