MANILA--A new feature added to this UFL season is an all-star game that will feature the best of the Philippines taking on the foreign gunners.
And fans will have the power to choose the prime protagonists for each side.
On Wednesday, the UFL opened an online all-star balloting similar to that of the United States' NBA All-Star Game.
Fans will choose four defenders, four midfielders, and two forwards among the list of the players initially nominated for an all-star spot for both the Filipino All-Stars and the Rest of the World All-Stars.
The league explained that a balloting for the goalkeepers of the respective teams was not included because the coaches will take charge on choosing it aside from the six reserves.
Voting will run until April 15, and the result will be revealed the following day.
The balloting can be done through Football.com.ph.
