PARAÑAQUE--Luke Barnatt made his vow to give Mark Muñoz a loss in his retirement fight in their UFC Fight Night Manila match on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

"I'm gonna try to finish him viciously. I want a highlight reel knockout, 'coz I'm just thinking about myself," Barnatt vowed to Dugout Philippines in the ultimate media day at the Solaire Grand Ballroom on Thursday.

The British fighter continued, "It might be Mark's last fight, but it doesn't matter to me. A big win over Mark could really start my career to soar. I'm not thinking about him. I'm not thinking about being his last fight. I don't care. I care about me winning in style."

He also said that he is ready to put a sold out MOA Arena crowd cheering for hometown favorite Muñoz to silence and even make them root for him afterward.

Barnatt continued, "[The crowd] will definitely be hostile. I know that the Filipinos love fighting, but they're not gonna be upset if I win the fight well. If I have a good fight--if I put up a good performance--they're still not gonna cheer for me, but I definitely win their respect, so I know they're gonna cheer for me in the future."
