MANILA—After a surprisingly close win against Army last week, Ceres showed its dominance against guest team Bright Star after a 14-0 shutout win in the nightcap of the UFL Cup's Sunday showcase at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Val Kama put Ceres in the lead four minutes into the match, while Jayson Panhay duplicated in the sixth.

Adrian Gallardo scored Ceres' third goal in the 13th minute, while Kama added one more four minutes later.

Panhay also got a brace with a 22nd minute goal before assisting Gallardo's second score five minutes later.

Martin Steuble and Nate Burkey also got into the scoring act as they tallied Ceres' seventh and eighth goals in the 31st and the 42nd minutes respectively.

Lee Jeong-Woo continued Ceres' barrage in the second half by scoring four goals in the first 30 minutes of the period.

Marwin Angeles also put up a goal in the 84th minute before Burkey capped a brilliant scoring night for his club by completing his own brace seconds into stoppage time.

Ceres' 14-0 win was the most lopsided victory all UFL season long.
