MANILA—With Green Archers holding on to a 1-0 lead at halftime of their UFL Cup match Saturday night, Ceres coach Ali Go looked to Bienve Marañon for help, sending him in off the bench before the start of the second half.

Moments later, Go inserted Lee Jeong-Woo and Jeffrey Christaens.

The three substitutes put on the barrage.

Ceres banked on Lee, Marañon, and Christaens to pull off a massive second half blast to trounce Green Archers, 4-1, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Ceres shrugged off the effects of Robert Mendy's third-minute goal to put Green Archers up as Lee scored the equalizer an hour later.

Ceres then quickly dispossessed Green Archers at the restart. Marañon finished the Ceres offensive by finding the net anew for the 64th minute go-ahead goal before feeding Adrian Gallardo for Ceres' third point in the 69th minute that capped a six-minute surge.

Christaens put the icing on the cake for Ceres by scoring in the 81st minute.

Ceres finished Group A on top with a perfect 12 points, while Green Archers are in second with nine points.
