FEU sizzles in second half to down upset-seeking Adamson

SAN JUAN, MM—FEU banked on a second half domination to trounce Adamson, 80-68, in an all-UAAP matchup in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Saturday.

The Tamaraws outscored the Soaring Falcons, 53-30, in the last 20 minutes to turn a surprise double-digit deficit at halftime to a 12-point win.

Monbert Arong made 10-of-11 field goals for a game-high 25 points along with two rebounds, an assist, and two steals for FEU, which moved up to 5-2.

Papi Sarr led Adamson with 21 markers. Joseph Nalos returned from a one-game layoff to tally eight points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
