MANILA--Manny Pacquiao bowed down to Floyd Mayweather in their much-anticipated match on Sunday at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

In the bout tagged as the "fight of the century", Pacquiao tried to be cautious of Mayweather's counter-punching skills in the early rounds, slowing the pace in the first three rounds.

Pacquiao finally got things going in the fourth, when he tagged Mayweather with power punches that shook up the unbeaten fighter.

Mayweather, however, controlled most of the last six rounds to secure his 48th straight professional boxing win.

Judges Glenn Feldman and Burt Clements scored the fight 116-112 for Mayweather, while Dave Moretti had it 118-110 also for Mayweather.

Mayweather, who won Pacquiao's WBO welterweight championship while retaining his WBC, WBA, and Ring Magazine belts, remains undefeated.

Pacquiao lost for the sixth time in his illustrious career.
