SAN JUAN, MM--La Salle booked the first seat in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup after an 84-71 win against FEU at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Friday.

Months after engaging in a classic UAAP Final Four series last year, the defending champions Green Archers got a revenge of sorts against the Tamaraws by immediately opening a double-digit advantage in the first quarter, holding on to the lead for the remainder of the game.

Jeron Teng led La Salle, which will await the winner of the JRU-San Beda game that is ongoing as of posting in the Sunday final, with 19 points and five rebounds, while Thomas Torres added a near triple-double of 18 markers, ten boards, and seven assists.

Roger Pogoy had a game-high 22 points along with ten rebounds for FEU, which still played minus Gilas Cadets' Mac Belo and Coach Nash Racela.
