SAN JUAN, MM--In a performance uncharacteristic of him in terms of his previous games, Bright Akhuetie was limited to only seven points and six rebounds in Perpetual Help's loss to Letran on Thursday.

However, the 6-8 center revealed to Dugout Philippines that the "House of Chaos" is not the only reason behind the slump.

"I think it's muscle spasm [in the calf]. I've been in the rehab since the last game," Akhuetie bared following the game, a 79-71 decision in favor of the now 5-0 Knights.

He also told Dugout that he was even supposed to sit out on Thursday.

Akhuetie then said, "I just told [Coach Aric Del Rosario], 'I want to try to play,' because I feel like I bring some kind of energy to the team."

However, he expects that he will be back at his 100 percent for the Altas' colossal match against the San Beda Red Lions on Tuesday.

"I feel better now," Akhuetie claimed after evaluating his condition after the game.
