Cariaso believes depth is X-Factor in PBA Finals

MANILA--Alaska's assistant coach Jeffrey Cariaso thought the PBA Governors' Cup Finals showdown between his team and San Miguel could be decided by their respective depth.

Asked by Dugout Philippines on Friday, before the Aces clash with the Beermen in the opener of their best-of-seven series at the Mall of Asia Arena, Cariaso answered, "In the series, your bench is crucial."

Cariaso, however, believes that Alaska's deep roster will give the payback it needed after losing to San Miguel in the Philippine Cup earlier in the year.

"It's not a secret that we are deeper in our rotation," Cariaso added.
