MANILA--Adrian Gallardo scored a quick hat trick even as Bienve Marañon and Lee Jeong-Woo added a brace each as Ceres put an end to Green Archers' five-game winning streak with a 7-0 rout in their UFL showdown at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night.

Gallardo opened the match with three goals in the sixth, 15th, and the 19th minutes as he made GAU miss starting goalkeeper Paolo Pascual, who was given a rest, early on.

Ali Go then decided to send Gallardo to the bench for Jeffrey Christaens, and the latter made a quick contribution as he assisted on Lee's 40th minute attack that made it 4-0 Ceres.

Marañon then went for his double as he fired a long-distance shot in the 50th minute and converted a penalty off a Reynald Villareal foul inside the box in the 61st.

Lee closed the match by completing his own two-goal performance in the 90th minute, eventually capping a bad outing for Kim Versales, who was given a start by Coach Rodolfo Alicante for Pascual.

Even the team management went on a meltdown as Team Manager Monchu Garcia was sent off in the 74th minute of the match.

Ceres strengthened its hold of first place in the league with its 37th point, needing only seven more to secure the championship with four matches left.

GAU, on the other hand, failed to move up to provisional third place and remained at sixth.
