Racal officially marks NCAA return as he leads Letran breakaway over JRU

SAN JUAN, MM--Kevin Racal sent a strong signal to the NCAA community that he is back as he helped spark Letran's third quarter storm against JRU en route to a 78-62 win in the final game of a Friday seniors triple-header at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

Struggling in his comeback game from an ACL injury against CSB, Racal had a better showing for the Knights against the Heavy Bombers, scoring six points in the third period to help them dominate the quarter and open a 63-49 cushion to take the blowout victory.

Overall, Racal finished with 15 points, ten in the second half, three rebounds, and two assists.

Meanwhile, Rey Nambatac provided the early offensive barrage for Letran as he made 19 of his game-high 25 markers in the first half. He also had four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block.

Paolo Pontejos and Abdul Abdul-Wahab each tallied 11 points for JRU in a game where Abdel Poutouochi was held scoreless.
