SAN JUAN, MM--The "Letran House of Chaos" remains tough to escape as Perpetual Help became the team's fifth straight prey after taking a 79-71 win in the battle of undefeated NCAA teams on Thursday night at the FilOil Flying V Arena.
The Knights opened the second half with a 9-1 run to open a double-digit spread and held on despite a gallant effort from Scottie Thompson.
Mark Cruz and Rey Nambatac each scored 15 points, while Jom Sollano added 14 for Letran, which is now solely on top of the standings with a 5-0 record, stretching its best start in two years.
Thompson led Perpetual Help with 22 points, but only made 5-of-14 field goals as both Bright Akhuetie and Prince Eze struggled against Letran's pressure defense.
