Discussions about Pacquiao's new role have been around online and offline in recent months especially when Aldin Ayo, one of Pacquiao's assistants with PBA club Kia, was named the new coach last summer.

Adding more hints was the agreement to make Pacquiao's PBA D-League team MP Hotel a school-based team for the Foundation Cup, paving the way for key Letran players led by Mark Cruz to join the team.

The Knights went to a good start on Tuesday as they bludgeoned CSB, 82-53.
