LAS VEGAS--Ray-Ray Parks finally nailed a point in the NBA Summer League, but his Dallas Mavericks still fell to the Portland Trail Blazers, 93-80, at the Cox Pavilion on Monday (Philippine Time).
Parks made a free throw in the second quarter of the game for his first point in the first step to becoming an NBA player. He also tallied a rebound in nearly eight minutes of play.
But Allen Crabbe sizzled for 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting with three rebounds, two steals, and a block as the Blazers pulled away in the second quarter to take the win.
Dwight Powell had a game-high 25 markers and eight boards for the Mavs, who have now lost two straight in the preseason tournament.
