LAS VEGAS--Bobby Ray Parks' NBA Summer League debut was short-lived, and Dallas fell prey to New Orleans, 86-90, at the Cox Pavilion inside the UNLV campus on Sunday (Philippine Time).

The former NU King Bulldog and Hapee Fresh Fighter only tallied 3:19 of playing time in the second quarter of the match, the time when the Pelicans tried to pull away from the Mavericks.

The undrafted Parks conceded a turnover and gave up a foul before sitting out for good later in the second.

Seth Curry, the brother of reigning MVP Steph Curry, went for 25 points although making 9-of-23 field goals with seven rebounds and five steals as New Orleans staved off a late Dallas scare led by first round pick Justin Anderson.

Anderson finished with 23 points and seven rebounds.
