SAN JUAN, MM—Perpetual Help got its fourth straight win in as many matches after trouncing San Sebastian, 84-70, in their NCAA battle at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Friday.

The trio of Scottie Thompson, Bright Akhuetie, and Gab Dagangon once again led the way for the Altas, who contained the Golden Stags for most of the game and pulled away in the fourth quarter for their best start since joining the league in 1984. They eclipsed their 3-0 start in 2004, the last time they made the finals.

Thompson finished with a triple-double of 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 14 assists, while Akhuetie had a 20-20 game of 20 points and 23 rebounds with three assists and two blocks and Dagangon made 13 of his 16 points in the second half for Perpetual Help, which reclaimed solo leadership in the team standings.

Ryan Costelo, a hero in San Sebastian's come-from-behind victory against JRU on Tuesday, made 18 markers, five boards, three dimes, and a steal.
