QUEZON CITY—Talk about back-to-back come-from-behind wins to open the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals.

San Miguel completed a second straight comeback win in the same number of nights with a 101-95 Game 1 win against Rain Or Shine at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday.

Twenty-four hours after Alaska opened its own semifinal series against Star with a big fightback, SMB also made a rally of its own to take down ROS.

The Elasto Painters, who led for most of the match, opened a 45-21 cushion early in the second quarter.

But the Beermen slowly crawled back and took an 84-79 advantage in the early moments of the fourth period.

Rain Or Shine looked to steal the fight from San Miguel after a 13-6 run gave the team a 93-90 lead.

San Miguel got the last laugh as the club closed the game on an 11-2 rally.

Three Beermen scored at least 20 points with Marcio Lassiter and AZ Reid leading the way with 22.

Wendell McKines tallied a game-high 33 points for the Elasto Painters.
