LAS VEGAS--Kelly Oubre ignited Washington's charge, while former GlobalPort import Jarrid Famous carried the fight in the interior as the team clawed Dallas, 85-79, in a NBA Summer League battle between winless teams at the Thomas and Mack Center on Wednesday (Philippine Time).

Entering the contest losing two straight games, the Wizards picked up steam against fellow 0-2 squad Mavericks early on, taking a 26-18 lead and never looked back.

Famous had 16 points, nine rebounds, and one block, while Oubre added 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block for Washington.

Former Ginebra import Orlando Johnson also suited up for Washington, but he, who started the match, only tallied two points and three assists.

Dwight Powell led Dallas for the second straight time with 18 markers, six boards, two dimes, four steals, and two blocks.

Ray-Ray Parks had a two-minute stint for Dallas, winding up scoreless.
