Adeogun hopes Bedans will flock Red Lions' finals rematch with Chiefs

SAN JUAN, MM--Some people noticed that while students and fans of the other schools fill the FilOil Flying V Arena during the NCAA games, the number of San Beda fans attending the games is somewhat few.

Center Ola Adeogun believes it has been the case because the Red Lions have been dominating the league.

"[The San Beda fans] are used to us being in the championship. All they do is to wait for the championship game," Adeogun told sportswriters prior to the Red Lions' finals rematch with the Arellano Chiefs.

Also aware of the scenario, Adeogun hopes that the Bedans will come on Tuesday to watch the team take on Arellano in their first meeting since last year's championship series.

"Sana mapuno ang Arena ng mga Bedans," Adeogun, who speaks Filipino fluently, continued.

He even called on the school management to at least allow the freshmen to watch the 4 p.m. game.

"I'm using the opportunity to tell the San Beda management na sana pagbigyan nila kahit yung mga first year lang," Adeogun pleaded.

In the curtain-raiser at 2 p.m., the other semifinalists from last season, JRU and Perpetual Help, will face off.
