TALLINN--Estonia withstood a late rally by Gilas to take a 90-80 win in the second day of the Toyota 4 Nations Tournament.
Estonia went on an early surge, ending the first quarter with a 33-17 lead and stretched it to as high as 20 points, the last at 77-57 at the end of the third quarter.
But Gilas caught fire in the fourth period, cutting the gap to as low as nine points, 86-77, with less than three minutes left.
Estonia, who made 14 triples the entire game, held on to the delight of the home crowd.
