Lyceum ends first round on high note with rout of EAC

SAN JUAN, MM--Lyceum finished its NCAA Season 91 first round campaign with a 69-55 blowout win against EAC at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Thursday.

Leading from the start, the Pirates immediately raced to a double-digit lead in the first half and staved off a slow third quarter to pounce the Generals.

Victor Nguidjol tallied 12 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal for Lyceum, which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Joseph Gabayni, who returned from a one-game suspension, added 11 markers, nine boards, three assists, one swat, and two steals.

Francis Munsayac once again led EAC, which ended its own first round stint with two straight losses after two straight wins, with 15 points, two assists, and two steals.
