MANILA--The selection of Troy Rosario as the second pick of the PBA Draft was already expected by almost the entire basketball community.

But contrary to recent rumors, Mahindra got to keep Rosario's draft rights.

The team formerly known as Kia retained the second overall pick of the draft held at Robinson's Place Manila, enabling the club to tap the 6-7 forward-center from NU.

Rosario is currently with first overall pick Moala Tautuaa and the rest of Gilas Pilipinas, which suffered a shutout in a pocket tournament in Tallinn, Estonia, but unlike the case of Tautuaa where his relatives came in for him, neither of Rosario's relatives represented him.
