San Beda blasts JRU, 88-69

SAN JUAN, MM—San Beda pulled away in the last 4:21 of its NCAA game against JRU to get an 88-69 win at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Thursday.

The Red Lions opened a double-digit lead a number of times for most of the match, but the Heavy Bombers kept in step and were within five, 64-69, with 4:32 remaining.

San Beda closed the game on a 19-5 run to improve to 6-1.

Arth Dela Cruz sizzled for 29 points on 11-of-14 shooting with six rebounds, nine assists, and four steals, while Ola Adeogun added 16 markers and eight boards.

Tey Teodoro tallied 16 points to lead JRU.
