MANILA--Socceroo and Voltes will collide in a two-game promotion-relegation playoffs to decide the tenth team that will join the First Division of the UFL beginning on Saturday.
Socceroo, which finished ninth in Division 1, and Voltes, which placed runner-up to already promoted Laos in Division 2, will start the series in the lone game at the Rizal Memorial Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Both clubs will play one more time on Tuesday night at the same venue.
The club with the better aggregate score after the two matches will complete the cast of the First Division teams for the 2016 season.
Socceroo, hampered by injuries and immigration disputes to some key players, only tallied four points this season in Division 1, while the former Manila All-Japan, bolstered by Mikko Mabanag, finished its Division 2 campaign with 27 points
