Ateneo bounces back from bad beat with rout of Adamson

PASAY--All Ateneo needed to bounce back from a 24-point humiliation by FEU was a 24-point blowout of Adamson.

The Blue Eagles notched their first win of UAAP Season 78 with an 84-60 rout of the Soaring Falcons at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

Appeared to be heading to a huge upset loss early on, Ateneo showed its dominance in the second half, outscoring Adamson, 54-30, to seal the victory.

Kiefer Ravena led the Blue Eagles anew with 24 points on 11-of-17 shooting along with four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.

Von Pessumal added 12 markers, three boards, and one swipe of his own.

Papi Sarr made 13 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks for the Soaring Falcons, but he was accounted for eight of their 29 turnovers.
