MANILA--Azkals coach Tom Dooley asked the fans for live support for their upcoming matches.

“I love to see you guys during the games. It’s very important for us to win this matches,” Dooley said on Wednesday ahead of two huge matches this coming week.

The Azkals will take on Maldives in a friendly on Thursday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium before clashing with Uzbekistan in a FIFA World Cup Qualifying phase showdown on Tuesday at the Philippine Sports Stadium.

Long-time players Neil Etheridge, Misagh Bahadoran, and Phil Younghusband seconded.

“The players get fired up (if fans are cheering and applauding)," the Walsall goalkeeper said.

"We will not disappoint you,” vowed the Global midfielder.

“Please come and watch us," the Loyola striker and current Azkals skipper pleaded.
