SAN JUAN, MM--Hot-shooting Jonathan Grey exploded for 25 points as College of Saint Benilde Blazers breezed past San Sebastian Recoletos, 69-62, Thursday in the NCAA season 91 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Arena.
Grey chipped in 12 points in the final quarter that left the Stags trailing all throughout in the payoff period.
The already eliminated Benilde improved to four wins and 11 losses alongside Lyceum.
The Blazers banked on the offensive duo of JR Ongteco and JJ Domingo in the third as they combined for 13 points to outscore the Stags, 24-15, and secure a 51-45 lead on the way to the final quarter.
Ongteco finished with 19, while Domingo wrapped up the game with 10.
Coming off from a huge upset against defending champion San Beda College, Bradwyn Guinto's 19-point performance was not enough to lift the Stags who dropped to a 5-11 record.
