MANILA--The PFF said on Wednesday night that it did not have a say on the "drum ban" imposed at the Philippine Sports Stadium during the Philippines-Uzbekistan showdown the evening before.
General Secretary Ed Gastanes said that it was Match Commissioner Salikin Bin Sarkawi who imposed the said restriction.
Gastanes also said that the drum ban was also implemented on the Uzbekistan fans, contrary to a statement by the Ultras Filipinas that the fans of the visiting team were allowed to bring their drums in, although the supporter group clarified that the Uzbek people did not use the drums.
