MANILA--The PFF gave Rob Gier the go signal to return to Azkals training for their upcoming trip to Pyongyang to face North Korea in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The PFF announced on Monday that Gier was included in the preliminary Azkals roster for the Oct. 8 battle to shore up their backline that was given a rude treatment by Uzbekistan on Sept. 8 in Bocaue.

Gier, however, will take the place of another defender in Juani Guirado.

On the other hand, spitfire midfielder Paolo Bugas will also see some training time with Coach Thomas Dooley, replacing fellow U-23 standout Jun Badelic.

Amani Aguinaldo, Misagh Bahadoran, Kenshiro Daniels, Patrick Deyto, Neil Etherdige, Juani Guirado, Kevin Ingreso, Jerry Lucena, Manny Ott, Stephan Palla, Javier Patiño, O.J. Porteria, Iain Ramsay, Patrick Reichelt, Daisuke Sato, Stephan Schrock, Martin Steuble, Dennis Villanueva, Luke Woodland, and team captain Phil Younghusband all got another Azkals training call-ups.
