Despite having 17 turnovers in the first half, Belo’s team managed to handle the ball well in the second half.
The captain put his team on his back as he hit a trey to tie the ball
game, and with another basket, FEU finally got the lead, 77-75. Mike Tolomia also
joined the crusade with a mid-range jumper to put FEU in an early 20-4 run.

Pumaren called his last time for the UE hoping for a run that his team
registered earlier, but that was not the case anymore as Belo’s corner three sealed
the deal for the Tamaraws and UE continued to struggle from the field, shooting
only five out of 18 attempts in the final quarter.
Mike Tolomia added 15 points,
while Monbert Arong and Raymar Jose with 14 and 13 apiece. For UE, Edson
Batiller led the way with 18.
