SAN JUAN, MM--Unlike his team's previous meetings with CSB including that of the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup, Perpetual Help's Bright Akhuetie was not that impressive in their NCAA clash on Friday.

Good thing, the reigning MVP stood out.

Scottie Thompson registered his sixth triple-double of the season as the Altas bludgeoned the Blazers, 70-47, at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

The fifth overall pick of the PBA Draft made 21 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists as Perpetual Help pulled away early on and never looked back to move to within a full game of Letran and San Beda for first and second places. Letran will take on JRU later Friday.

Akhuetie, on the other hand, still finished with 11 markers even as fellow African reinforcement Prince Eze added ten.

Jonathan Grey led the also-ran CSB squad, which only had five scorers, with 14 points.
