MANILA--San Beda's Michole Sorela, JRU's Gio Lasquety, and Mapua's Denniel Aguirre each received a one-game suspension by the NCAA on Wednesday for their respective disqualifying fouls during their previous meetings.

Sorela incurred the ban after getting sent off for punching Perpetual Help's Kevin Oliveria during their game last week.

Lasquety also punched a player that led to his eventual suspension in the person of CSB's Ralph Deles.

On the other hand, Aguirre's unsportsmanlike foul on Letran's Jom Sollano was upgraded to a disqualifying foul, forcing him to join Coach Atoy Co outside the FilOil Flying V Arena for Mapua's next game.

Players ejected from the game automatically get a one-game suspension as per NCAA rules.

The Red Lions will face the Lyceum Pirates on Thursday, while the Heavy Bombers and the Cardinals will take on the Knights and the Arellano Chiefs respectively on Friday.
