QUEZON CITY—Alaska blew by Talk 'n Text, 114-98, in the nightcap of the first PBA doubleheader of the 2016 season at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday.

The Aces quickly pulled away in the first quarter and never looked back as the Tropang Texters failed to get good numbers from the top two picks of the draft in their debut.

Mo Tautuaa and Troy Rosario were limited to a combined six points in their first regular season with TNT.

Vic Manuel led Alaska, runner-up in two conferences last season, with 22 markers, ten rebounds, and two assists.
