MANILA--Ateneo forward John Apacible made a public apology on Tuesday regarding the road incident on Sunday where he got too furious while drunk, in which a video made rounds online.
In a copy of the letter posted in the school's official Facebook page, Apacible said that he regretted his actions during the said road rage.
"Alam ko pong ako ay nagkamali, at dahil dito, sobra po akong nahihiya sa aking pamilya, team, school, at sa lahat ng naapektuhan nito," said the sophomore.
He also admitted of being selfish and irresponsible during the incident.
"Inisip ko lang ang aking sarili at nakalimutan ko ang aking mga responsibilidad," Apacible's apology continued.
"Handa po akong tanggapin ang anumang maaaring kalabasan ng aking pagkakamali," concluded the former Hope Christian standout, who was already suspended by the Blue Eagles for the rest of the elimination round.
