PASAY--Stanley Pringle went on fire in the fourth quarter as GlobalPort stunned Star, 101-94, in their PBA Philippine Cup game at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.
Pringle scored 13 points in the final frame as he helped the Batang Pier pull away for good from the Hotshots.
Pringle finished with 23 markers along with four rebounds, five assists, and a steal for GlobalPort, which bounced back from its season-opening loss.
Terrence Romeo came off the bench to add 20 points with a carom, a dime, ans two swipes.
Marc Pingris led six Star players in double figures with 14 markers.
