JRU mauls San Sebastian to assure of shot at semis

SAN JUAN, MM—JRU spoiled the spoiler.

The Heavy Bombers stopped the San Sebastian Golden Stags' late NCAA Season 91 winning run that helped complicate the playoff race after a 91-69 win at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Friday.

JRU pulled away for goid in the fourth quarter to extend its own late surge to six and clinch at least a battle for the last Final Four spot.

Paolo Pontejos led the Bombers with 23 points, three rebounds, and four assists, while Abdel Poutouochi anchored their defense with 16 boards, three blocks, and one steal.

Bradwyn Guinto ended his collegiate career with the Stags with 14 markers, 12 caroms, two dimes, and one swat.
