CHANGSHA--With hours left before the tip-off of the much-awaited FIBA Asia championship, business tycoon and Gilas Pilipinas patron Manny V. Pangilinan ranted on Twitter about sudden dilemmas they were experiencing on Saturday.
On his Twitter account, Pangilinan ranted his frustrations over the delay of Gilas' electric bus service due to "failed to charge daw."
The vehicle will bring them to Changsa Social Work Colleges, the location of the Finals' game against host China, but the sudden hold-back resulted to "less time for warm-ups" for the title-hungry Filipinos.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president also posted a tweet about Gilas' assistant coaches having "no tickets" as the game will start at 8:30 pm .
The winner of the showdown will secure an outright ticket to the Rio Olympics and the pride of being on top in the Asian basketball scene.
