PASAY—The sweep may be gone, but San Beda remains as the best high school basketball program in the NCAA.

The Red Cubs claimed their seventh straight juniors basketball plum after winning, 70-61, over the Arellano Braves in Game 3 of the finals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.

San Beda outscored Arellano, 40-29, in the second half to disrupt the latter, which had a good start, from forcing a win-or-go-home affair on Tuesday.

Evan Nelle, adjudged the Finals MVP, added 13 markers, eight caroms, three assists, two steals, and two blocks.
