PASAY--When EAC launched a big-time recruitment in 2011 to build a formidable NCAA squad, one of the players tapped was Joshua Torralba.
The following year, the Generals were a win away from making the Final Four, but curiously, Torralba was not in the lineup.
Fast forward to this year. Torralba, now known as simply Josh, made a return to the Philippine college basketball scene, but from one side of Taft, he transferred to the La Sallian zone.
And on his first taste of La Salle vs. Ateneo basketball on Sunday, he delivered by making the game-winning triple for the Green Archers.

After the game, Torralba discussed the feeling of playing for La Salle and for EAC.
"The UAAP is a different atmosphere than the NCAA. Competition-wise, they are the same, but the UAAP is very commercialized. It adds to the pressure," the shooting guard told some sportswriters.
However, he also bared that upon his transfer to La Salle, the academe immediately made him feel to be at home.
Torralba continued, "There's a lot of support especially with the La Salle community. It's like a family."
He also said that his faith in God strengthened through the game.
"He has a plan for everything. I went through a lot. I really see God working in my life through basketball."
