ANTIPOLO--Ginebra showed what a fusion of Coach Tim Cone's triangle offense and the team's never-say-die attitude looks like.

The Gin Kings squandered an eight-point Mahindra Enforcers lead and cruised to an 80-76 victory in their PBA Philippine Cup clash at the Ynares Center on Sunday.

Ginebra lost a 36-27 lead and was down, 50-58, late in the third quarter, but the team went on a 26-8 run to take the lead, 76-66, with 3:11 left in the fourth.

Mahindra tried to stay alive by scoring six straight points to cut the lead to four, but Greg Slaughter scored a clutch field goal with 37 seconds left to put the lead back to six.

L.A. Revilla drained two free throws at the other end, and his team got a crack at inching closer as Slaughter only made one of two charities of his own in the next play.

Revilla, however, missed his three-pointer try, and Slaughter added another free throw to seal the victory.

Slaughter finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for the Gin Kings, who have scored their first winning streak since last year's Commissioner's Cup.

Karl Dehesa led the slumping Enforcers with 17 markers.
