PASIG--Mahindra, the remaining winless team in the PBA Philippine Cup prior to Friday, finally scored its first victory at the expense of NLEX with a 103-93 decision at the PhilSports Arena.
The Enforcers began pouring it on in the last 11 minutes of the first quarter as they immediately turned the game to a rout after taking the lead from the Road Warriors, who scored the first three points of the match.
Mahindra stretched the lead to as high as 21 and never looked back.
Kyle Pascual, K.G. Canaleta, and Aldrech Ramos each scored 14 points for the Enforcers, who actually snapped a 13-game losing streak in the Philippine Cup dating back to last season.
Asi Taulava's 31-point performance went down the drain for the Road Warriors.
