MANILA--Bobby Ray Parks made the lineup for the Texas Legends for their season debut against the Austin Spurs.

The Legends announced on Friday (Philippine Time) that the former NU King Bulldog made the 10-man roster for the season opener on Saturday (Philippine Time).

Parks, a second rounder in the NBA D-League Draft but was Texas' first pick in the said draft, will be joined by Dallas Mavericks draftee Satnam Singh, Brandon Ashley, Thomas Bropleh, Shernon Collins, Allen Durham, Tu Holloway, Toure Moury, Justin Reynolds, and Jamil Wilson.

Two more players, Bo Barnes and Patrick Miller, were placed in the reserves' list as the D-League only allows ten active players for a certain team to give way to two players who will be assigned to the said club from its mother NBA team.

A 13th player, Micheal Eric, will join the Legends later in the season but is expected to be activated a few games in.

Parks' inclusion makes him the first Filipino to make the official roster of an NBA D-League club. Former NBA D-League draftee Japeth Aguilar did not make the final cut of the Sta. Cruz Warriors lineup for the 2013 season, paving the way for him to make a PBA return.

The Legends will visit Austin on Saturday to take on the Spurs, who also have a player familiar to Filipino basketball fans in former Lyceum Pirate Victor Nguidjol.
