NEW YORK--Bobby Ray Parks' road to the NBA is still on.

The Texas Legends selected the former NU King Bulldog in the second round of the NBA D-League Draft on Sunday (Philippine Time).

Parks was selected 25th overall and sixth in the second round, but this is technically the Legends' first rounder as they did not have an original first round pick.

Texas is the D-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, where Parks, who went undrafted in the NBA Draft last June, played during the NBA Summer League.

Parks became the highest-drafted Filipino player in NBA D-League history, way ahead of current Ginebra star Japeth Aguilar, who was selected 109th overall in the seventh round of the 2012 D-League Draft by the Sta. Cruz Warriors, who later waived him.
