By Ivan Saldajeno

SAN JUAN, MM--Petron forced a showdown with Foton for the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix title with a 25-20, 26-24, 20-25, 25-13 semifinals win over Cignal at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Thursday night.

The Blaze Spikers bounced back from a sluggish third set as they blew out the HD Spikers in the fourth to secure the knockout semifinal win and a clash with the Lady Tornadoes, who needed five sets before ousting the Philips Gold Lady Slammers in the other Final Four match-up.

Rupia Inck led Petron, which will begin its best-of-three series with Foton on Monday, with 20 points, while Rachel Anne Daquis tallied 14.

Amanda Anderson also finished with 20 markers for Cignal, which will face Philips in a one-game battle for third on Saturday.
