PASAY--Rain Or Shine banked on its bench contributors to bludgeon Blackwater, 103-81, to regain a share of the lead in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome on Saturday.
The Elasto Painters opened a sizable lead after the opening quarter and eventually turned the game into a blowout in the third with non-starters Jericho Cruz and Jewel Ponferada taking charge.
Cruz finished with 23 points, making all but two of his ten field goal attempts, while Ponferada added 15 on 7-of-12 shooting for ROS, which joined San Miguel and Alaska in first place at 4-1. J.R. Quiñahan top-scored for the starters with 11.
Arth Dela Cruz posted 15 markers, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals in his best game so far in is rookie season for Blackwater.
