PASAY--Rain Or Shine banked on a huge third quarter run to wallop San Miguel, 99-84, in a battle of unbeaten squads in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday night.
The Elasto Painters bucked off a slow second quarter start and outscored the Beermen, 30-14, in the third to blow the game wide open.
Three ROS players led by Raymond Almazan tallied 15 points, while two more added 14 including third overall pick Maverick Ahanmisi in his best game so far in his maiden PBA journey.
Alex Cabagnot had 16 for SMB.
