BEIJING--A Filipino is set for his One Championship debut in Beijing for Dynasty of Champions 2 on Saturday night.

Trestel Tan, the only Philippine fighter in the card, will take on Taiwan's Jeff Huang in one of the undercards of the said event which will feature two world title fights.

Both Tan and Huang made the 170-pound welterweight limit with the Filipino, now based in Malaysia, even tipping the scales at a lighter 166.5 pounds during the weigh-in on Friday.

Aside from kicking off his career at Asia's biggest MMA promotion with a bang, Tan also looks to build a winning run that could even put him in a position for a world title shot as he only has a three-win, four-loss card. He will fight Huang, who has a better slate at 5-2.

History, however, could be in Tan's favor as he knocked out Huang in their first meeting in PRO FC on May 9, silencing the latter's hometown crowd in Taipei.

Two world championship battles will highlight Dynasty of Champions 2 on Saturday.

In the co-main event, Brazilian fighter Adriano Moraes will stake his One flyweight belt against unbeaten Kazakh opponent Kairat Akhmetov.

In the other world title clash, Narantungalag Jadamba will finally have his defense of the One featherweight championship against Marat Gafurov in the main event.

Jadamba and Gafurov were supposed to take on each other at One: Odyssey of Champions in Jakarta on Sept. 27.

But travel problems forced the Mongolian champ to back out of the event, making Australian-based Vietnamese fighter Martin Nguyen his late replacement.

The Russian Gafurov forced his new opponent to tap out in the dying moments of the first round of their match, handing him the interim featherweight pennant.

Jadamba and Gafurov will now get to face each other after two months of delay with the undisputed One featherweight on the line.
