MANILA--The Jr. NBA Philippines began its quest to find the next basketball prospects in the country as it opened the registration for the 2016 edition of the said basketball camp.

The said basketball clinic series, which will be divided to four phases, officially began the online registration on Monday for young ballers and coaches.

The player camp is open to boys and girls aged 10 to 14, while the coaching clinic is open to elementary and high school coaches.

Applicants can go to jrnba.asia/philippines and click on either the open clinic registration for kids or coach clinic registration for the tacticians to fill their personal details. They need to save a printed copy of their registration and bring the said copy upon entry to the camps for verification.

The new Jr. NBA season, which will begin on Jan. 23, will be composed of school and open clinics, regional selection camps, the national selection camp where an NBA player will be invited to witness it, and a trip to the United States to select standouts from the national camp to witness an NBA game live.

The Jr. NBA Philippines is known for honing the likes of Kiefer Ravena, Mark Tallo, Ricci Rivero, Kobe Paras, and Aljon Mariano, the first basketball camp alumnus to be drafted to the PBA.
