SAN JUAN, MM--The much-anticipated NCAA Finals rematch between San Beda and Letran may have to wait for another day.
On the other hand, USC, after playing back-to-back games, will finally get a much-needed rest.
The stormy weather due to Typhoon Nona prompted the PCCL to postpone the national semifinals scheduled for Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.
The Knights, who gained an outright semis slot by being the NCAA champs, are supposed to begin life without Coach Aldin Ayo when they clash anew with fellow league finalists Red Lions, who needed to withstand a second half rally by the TIP Engineers to book the Final Four seat, in the 2 p.m. affair.
On the other hand, the Warriors, who beat UAAP squads NU Bulldogs and UST Growling Tigers in two straight nights to enter the Final Four, are supposed to face the other outright semifinalists, UAAP champions FEU Tamaraws, in the 4 p.m. game.
The PCCL rescheduled both games to Thursday at the said venue with the same tip-off times.
